Ever since I first saw the AWB cars at the AHRA Winternationals in 1965, I have wanted to have an association with them. Then I was struck again in 1968, with the SS/B Darts and Cudas. Throughout all the years, my desire to have and build them has only grown. Four years ago, I embarked on a mission to build these cars for those who are as addicted to them as I am, focusing on faithfulness to the originals, and quality in the build process, while having a driver that is 100% streetable!
SS and AFX specialty is building accurate reproductions of the 1965 altered wheelbase A/FX, and 1968 Hemi S/S Darts and Cudas. That’s all we do. It is our passion. All work is performed in house, allowing us to assure quality, and completion of projects on time. All mechanicals, including engine build, are done in house. NO CRATE MOTORS!!!! All cars are restored ground up, using original, or reproductions of all the special parts that went into the building of the original cars. The altered wheelbase cars are built using the factory manual #42087 for construction. If you own a BO, LO, A-990 or AWB that needs some work, we can handle the restoration.
